The Children's Workshop's Mentoring Program is gaining momentum! We are very excited to launch our program this fall in the Central Falls school system. We...
Our state-of-the-art Westerly facility welcomes infants, toddlers, preschoolers and pre-kindergartners. We are open from 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, to fit the needs of our busy families. The center is conveniently located on Route 1, not far from the beautiful Westerly beaches. Our building includes bright, developmentally appropriate, fun classrooms and large outdoor playgrounds. As you will see our Westerly center is warm, inviting and designed with young children in mind.
We utilize The Children’s Workshop Curriculum, a framework we developed that draws inspiration from Creative Curriculum and the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards which you will see in action in all our centers. Children retain more when they're having fun so our programs emphasize learning through play. Our curriculum provides a strong foundation for children's academic success and our teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment in which every child can be successful.
Chrissy and the entire Westerly staff invite you to visit and take a tour of their beautiful home! For more information or to schedule a visit please call, click or stop in!

Christina StanlewiczHello, my name is Chrissy and I am the Director of our Westerly location.
I came to the company in April 2002 as the assistant director at our Pawtucket center. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Director of that center. I have been working in early childhood since 1998. I began my career as a toddler lead teacher. I have also taught preschool, kindergarten enrichment and school age.
I am very excited to be part of a great team of dedicated teachers. This is by far the best center I have worked at. I look forward to teaching your children and making new relationships with you all. As the director of this beautiful center, my door is always open! Please let me know what I can do for you.

It's nice to know who is taking care of your children
We have been going to the Children's Workshop since August 2004 when my son was 2 months old. He is now in the 1st grade, his little sister is now in the Waddlers classroom and is learning wonderful things from the same teacher that taught him. We have been with the same core people for over 6 years, it's nice to know who is taking care of your children.
